Movies Reflection Unit 3.

This unit was a challenge for me because I never tried online class before, but since we have Coronavirus pandemic I have been tried online classes and it is really difficult for me and I have been tried to focus a lot in this unit to learn as much as I can. I learned in this unit about movies and the basic films genres there are eight main genres of film such as action, comedy, drama, romance etc... Also, I learned about the history of movie how was it in the past and how is it now in the past the movie used to be without sounds and all the colors is white and black but now the technology entered the world and you can't watch a movie without a sound or it is not colorful and the difference between the cameras in the old days and now.And about film: is a universal language that lets us tell stories about our collective self and fears to make sense in the world around us and the people around us.  I realized that movie related to pop culture too. I learned something new in this unit about blockbuster which means  is a Hollywood movie that's made with a large budget and big star. The B movie is the movie that made with low budget. my Aha moment about the indie film which means an independent film or short film that produced outside the major film studio system. I thought its Indian movie. Furthermore, I learned many definitions like:box office:where people buy the movie ticket, flick :slang word, plot: story line, movie buff: movie expert, Bollywood movie from indie movie. credits : name of people who worked in that film. I learned about comedy movie and a lot of movie what makes comedy movie funny by exaggerating the situation , the language , personality, jokes, action , relationship and characters. In this unit I got a new skill how to make a poster for a movie and I will try to work hard on it to prove it more. We also talked about Tyler Perry he is in competition with George Clooney and Cate, his movie didi more box office on its opening weekend more than George and Cate. He is filmmaker, playwright, owner.
