New Visual Project and Course Reflection

  In this course I have learned a lot . I learned about culture and pop culture which is I don't know a lot about this before I register in this course and I learned what is the different between culture and pop culture. Pop culture is usually distinguished from folk and high culture. POP CULTURE is like fad , fashion, TV etc..Culture is the collective programming of the mind culture is us culture is learned norms and values are learned in childhood they can be collective or individual. Also we have levels for culture 1- universal 2- national 30. interpersonal 4- personal. Culture is like an iceberg sometimes culture is visible like language and clothing music and food is it what we see as a tourist or a visitor.Also, I learned about culture shock everyone who move from his country to another country should have a culture shock because it always something different between your culture and another culture. we go deeper in unit two to know more about decade and how every decade has  different fad, people and events people and how there is trends that stays for a long time. Pop cultural is basically Hollywood It's how celebrities, musician and artiest are shown, so that’s what is pop culture. Language is really an important part in pop cultural because it has an important social function between people.I believe everything in life related to culture. we learned about music and movies genres and how it is related to culture. every decade has different kind of music and movie .The most important thing that I have learned how to use tools that I didn't use before and that's helped me a lot as college student.
